Power goes out across all of Forest Hills

PDF

In the middle of the day, frozen tree branches have fallen over power lines and on cars. Luckily, no fires had broken out but help is on the way. Last night, there was a dangerous ice storm that scattered across Michigan hitting Forest Hills area the worst. All the trees are in a heavy coating of ice that puts a lot of weight on the branches. The ice was too heavy for the branch to hold, and in one neighborhood, a enormous branch from an oak tree fell directly on someone's car.

Agnes Foo, who lives on the corner of Burton and Kraft was the unfortunate person that owned the vehicle. Mrs. Foo said, I couldn't believe it. A frozen tree branch came crashing down on my car! It was horrible! Luckily, Mrs. Foo was not in the car when it happened. This was the worst winter storm in Forest Hills history.

This is a developing story. Come back later for more.
